Birds of Upstate New York
Introduction
The following is mostly a list, but we are adding new birds to it every
week. Please send us photos, drawings, water colors, paintings, stories,
written descriptions, and alike and we will expand the list by creating a Web
page for each bird.
If you are a birder, chances are that you have been photographing birds
for year or decades. All of those photos sitting in slide boxes or
stored on your computer are rarely if ever seen by anyone else. By
contributing your birding images to this project they will have a world-wide
audience. If you contribute numerous photos, I will create pages with
your name on them. The title of the page would read something like
"Cathy Smith's Blue Winged Teal Photographs." You can help make this
directory better through your contribution.
We are also seeking sponsorship and grants to expand the Nature of
Rochester.
