result of separation, death or divorce, you don't have to be alone. There
are untold others who share your feelings."

Rochester Fun Raisers Singles
Club. "Welcome and thank you for your interest in our Club –
The Fun Raisers. We are a group of single people (40s, 50s and 60s)
whose framework is friendship and fun. The members of our Club
demonstrate an interest in the lives and well being of others, as well
as respect for the beliefs of all people. We exhibit energy, a lightness
of spirit and contribute to the welfare of the Club, its members and the
community. We are a Club of over 200 members, but maintain a family

"Singles Golf of Rochester (SGR) is a club composed of single people (i.e.
divorced, widowed, separated or never married), age 21 or over, that enjoy
playing golf. No need to be an expert at the game; many are just
beginners. Because it is a fun, social golf group, membership is composed
of many different skill levels. The only request is that you are familiar
with golf etiquette and have played the game before."

Single Volunteers of Rochester.
"The objective of Single Volunteers of Rochester (SVR) is to fulfill the
volunteer needs of non-profit organizations in the Rochester area, all
while having fun and meeting other single people. SVR provides a unique,
non-threatening environment where single people can meet other single,
available people. Formed in 2000, the group is one of 23 chapters of an
organization that is based in Washington, D.C. Members can sample from an
assortment of different types of events and activities, without having to
make a regular long-term commitment to any one in particular. All events
are performed as a team, which are usually composed of 6 – 20 people.
Each volunteer event is typically followed by a brief social activity,
where participants will go out together for dinner or drinks. Those
interested must be at least at least 21 years of age. A member must also
be single (i.e. not in a committed relationship)."
