- Anderson Valley Artists. "Anderson Alley Artists is a community of artists with studios on the second, third, and fourth floors of the Anderson Alley Building Anderson Alley Artists Building (a former shoe factory) at 250 N. Goodman Street.
We are the heart of Rochester's "Neighborhood of the Arts," surrounded by the Memorial Art Gallery, Village Gate, ARTWalk, Craft Company #6, the Flatiron Building and the George Eastman House. Dozens of artists work in various media in our studios."
- Genesee Valley Calligraphy Guild. "The Genesee Valley Calligraphy Guild is a learning guild with members at all levels of experience. By sharing a love of traditional and contemporary handwritten letters, we build friendships and a greater confidence in our art."
- Genesee Valley Plein Air Painters, Inc. "Genesee Valley Plein Air Painters, Inc. (GVPAP), a plein air artist association, promotes and inspires quality plein air painting. Through regularly scheduled
outdoor painting sessions, GVPAP provides diverse plein air painting opportunities
throughout the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes Region. Incorporated in 2006,
Genesee Valley Plein Air Painters Inc. members are practicing, experienced plein
air artists. Qualified artist applicants are encouraged to join GVPAP. All 'painting' mediums are welcome."
- Mill Art Center & Gallery. "Art galleries and an art center are located in The Lower Mill on the banks of Honeoye Creek in the scenic Village of Honeoye Falls, New York. This historic circa 1827 three story grist mill is home to our non-profit community Mill Art Center & Gallery. The Lower Mill is a unique setting for the arts with galleries and studio / classrooms filling the entire second floor, and art displays throughout the building."
- New York Figure Study Guild. "The purpose of The New York Figure Study Guild is to establish a rich environment to promote the study of the human form by mentoring, encouraging dialog within the Guild and to collaborate and exchange ideas with other like minded organizations in and out of New York State.
Founded in February 2008, members to date include professional artists, teachers and students along with a host of others from commerce and industry drawing from three contiguous counties."
- Rochester Art Club.
"The Rochester Art Club, founded in 1877, is one of the oldest
continuously active art groups in the United States. The organization's
purpose is to advance the artistic growth of its professional membership
and to contribute wherever possible to the cultural enrichment of the
community. Membership in the Rochester Art Club, currently numbering about
170, is achieved through a juried selection process."
