Friends of the Greece Public Library. "The Friends of the Greece Public Library is a continually growing group of people who are interested in improving and supporting the library system in the Town of Greece. It is a volunteer organization which lends its time, energy and money to help the library system expand and better its fine work in our community. An annual meeting is held each October for all members. The Board meets monthly and committees meet as needed.

The Library itself sometimes is unable to provide community programs because of time, personnel or monetary restraints. The Friends try to fill that gap. The Friends also played an active role in promoting the construction of the town's main library off Long Pond Road.
