Rochester, NY Events Calendar

Post or view events relevant to the Rochester, NY community. This calendar is self-serve.  You can enter events directly to the calendar for later approval.  There is no charge to submit events or to view the calendar.  This calendar is moderated and it may take 1-2 days for your event to appear.  Do not list your event more than once.

If your organization frequently publishes events to the calendar, you may request a user ID and password by contacting Max Lent using the contact information below.  This will enable you to post events without their going through the approval process. 

FAQ

Question:   I posted my event.  Why didn't it show up the same day in the calendar?

Answer:  All event postings are moderated and the moderation process may take from 1 to 3 days.  Re-entering an event will more than likely result in its deletion.

Question:  Why didn't my event get listed?

Answer 1:  No contact information was provided with your announcement.  If we have no means of verifying the event, the request to list will be deleted. 

The event was repeatedly entered.  We assume that repeated entries are spam and delete them.

Not enough information about the event was provided.  All fields in the form require data.

Answer 2:  You may have entered a range of dates that included every day for a week, month, or year.  An event lasts for a few hours, a day, and on rare occasions a weekend.  Listing an event as occurring every day for a month is a quick way to have your request deleted.  The only exception to this rule are plays.
