- "The Arts Organizations Directory
provides one-stop access to virtually all Rochester New York's cultural organizations. Claims to fame include a world-class museum of
photography and film (George Eastman House), the nation’s top music conservatory (Eastman School of Music) and photography school
(Rochester Institute of Technology), an acclaimed modern dance company (Garth Fagan Dance), the landmark homes of famous citizens Susan
B. Anthony and George Eastman, and much more.
- ArtWalk. "Conceived by local residents, ARTWalk
is a permanent urban art trail, connecting the arts centers and public spaces within the Neighborhood of the Arts (NOTA). The ARTWalk
route runs along University Avenue between the George Eastman House on the east and North Goodman Street to the west. Between North
Goodman Street and Merriman Street it is located on the North side of University Avenue, crossing at Merriman Street to the South side
between Merriman Street and the George Eastman House."

- South East Area Coalition (SEAC). "For over thirty years,
the South East Area Coalition (SEAC) has helped maintain the southeast quadrant of the City of Rochester, NY as a fine place to work,
live and play. Our experienced and professional staff is committed to helping individuals, groups, and businesses solve problems
related to housing, crime, human services and other neighborhood or quality of life conditions."
- The Weaver's Guild of Rochester. "...an educational organization formed
to foster interest in weaving and related fiber arts and to encourage the exchange of information and inspiration among its members.
Anyone interested in weaving is welcome to join. Our members are located primarily in the Rochester, N.Y., area, with "newsletter
members" living throughout the United States and around the world."

- Visual Studies Workshop. "The Visual Studies Workshop is an internationally recognized center for media studies, including
photography, visual books, digital imaging, film and video. It is located in two historic buildings, comprising 44,000 feet of space in
Rochester's museum and cultural district. It serves visual artists and the general public with diversified programming in education and
exhibitions. VSW's Siskind Gallery, The Collector's Gallery and Bookstore are open from noon–5pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
Afterimage,the journal of media arts and cultural criticism, is published by VSW, as well as an extensive series of artists' books.
Artists residencies, access programs, and internships make the facilities available for the production of artworks and for scholarly
research in VSW's extensive archives and library."

- A Splash of Color Art Studio.
"A Splash of Color Art Studio offers art lessons and specialty crafts for
all ages. Sue Deacon is an artist offering instruction in the fine arts
and crafts.
Art mediums include water color, acrylic /acrylics, oil paint, pastels,
pen and ink, charcoal, colored pencil, and others.
Specialty crafts include stained glass, gel candles, polymer clay, and
paper sculpture.
The studio is located at 8 Amity Street in the Village of Spencerport, ten
minutes west of Rochester, serving children, teens and adults from the
greater Rochester region."
